Khamti – Lahe – Khamti – Mandalay (6Days / 5 Nights)
Day 01: Sunday 12 Jan 2020, Mandalay – Khamti (by flight)
Take domestic flight to Khamti from the Mandalay International Airport. After about 1 hour 20 minutes boarding the flight, you arrive at Khamti Airport and transfer in to the small hotel for check-in. Khamti is located at the eastern bank of Chindwin River, which is the second longest one in the country. After taking a rest at guest house, we introduce you with Khamti’s town exploration with local transportation to see more prominent sites highlights included Naga Traditional Museum and Naga traditional festival field which is the most popular place for their New Year festival and dancing place. In afternoon, you will stroll around the town and visit Nanthargone Naga village, Chinese temple. Dinner at local restaurant and one night stop in Khamti.

Day 02: Monday 13 Jan 2020, Khamti to Lahe by (by 4×4 Wheel D)
After breakfast in the morning, we take a walk to Khamti local market and then drive to Lahe via crossing on the New Bridge over the Chindwin River. This adventure-driving passing through the tribal villages and forest mountain range will be highlight of the day. On the way, visit to Lahe Naga villages and make a nice stop at Tainenyo viewpoint for photography. In the afternoon, arrive at Lahe.

Day 03: Tuesday 14 Jan 2020, Lahe (Opening Ceremony of Naga New Year Festival)
After breakfast, we proceed to the festival place to participate opening ceremony of 2020 Naga New Year Festival. You see different Naga races on the same place at the festival. Most of the different Naga people will come and join the New Year Festival as their traditional. The main purpose is to meet all different races together on the same place for annual meeting and cultural exchange of their tradition by dancing. On their site, they have good opportunity for their annual gathering by having dinner with bone fire. After opening ceremony, lunch is served and takes a short rest. In the afternoon, you can take your leisure in the small town or join the village sightseeing by our private car to a village. You have good opportunity to touch with their ways of life, tradition, culture and daily activities. After dinner, night stop will be at the same place.

Day 04: Wednesday 15-Jan-2020, Lahe (Grand Ceremony)
Today is second day of Naga New Year Festival and grand ceremony of the festival. You have good opportunity to see many different dancing styles of different Naga people. Today they celebrate the festival whole day. Authentic beauty of Naga races in their colorful traditional cloths, different way of their dancing in the daytime and bon fire dancing will be highlights of the ceremony. If time permit, we will visit some Naga traditional house where different Naga people from faraway are staying just for their festival time. You can meet all of their leaders, families and all members of the ceremony at the same place. Dinner and night stop is also at the same place. Naga New year Bon-fire ceremony is held by sunset. Enjoy very attractive and diverse Naga Traditional dances from different groups.

Day 05: Thursday 16 Jan 2020, Lahe – Khamti (by car)
As the last day of Naga New Year Festival, we participate 2020 Naga New Year Festival and proceed to Khamti. In the afternoon drive down to Khamti, lunch at local restaurant on the way and continue our journey. In the late afternoon, we arrive Khamti and check in guesthouse. After check in at the same guesthouse, dinner will be served at a restaurant. Take your time easy and night stop will be at the guesthouse in Khamti.

Day 06: Friday 17 Jan 2020, Khamti – Mandalay (by flight)
This morning, you enjoy with local tea and snacks for breakfast at tea house. Transfer to airport to take domestic flight to Mandalay.
