Sagaing ( largest religious site in Myanmar)
Sagaing is located at the west bank of mighty Ayeyarwaddy River in Sagaing Region. Its classical name is Zayarpura means city of victory. It has been recognized as the largest Buddhist religious site in Myanmar with its hundreds of monasteries, nunneries, meditation centres, pagodas and religious buidings. Its main tourist attraction is Soon-Oo-Pone-Nya-Shin Pagoda on there travelers can see sublime Buddha Image, Stupa, panoramic view over the city. And the second one is U Min Thone Se Pagodas - 45 gold gilded seated Buddha Images are placed in the tunnel cave. The other ones are Shin Pin Nam Kaing Pagoda, Sagaing local market, Ancient Wooden-made Monastery (Yokesone Kyaung), Pot-making village, and Thatkyathida nunnery etc..
